The Teachers' Manual is a guide to creatively implement the Universality of Italian Heritage Curriculum. Suggestions are made whereby teachers can elect to infuse the individual lessons into existing curricula as presented, or, to use them in an interdisciplinary approach.

The latter affords educators the flexibility to work cooperatively across subject areas and grade levels to make the utilization of this heritage model more dynamic and relevant.

Those teachers who choose to do so will receive ongoing training on effective infusion strategies. Others may prefer to rely solely on the carefully designed Teachers' Manual provided. We do ask that you complete the Italian Heritage Curriculum Registration and Evaluation Forms. Submission of the documents will enable us to know you, ascertain effectiveness of the Curriculum, and to provide you with newly developed material.
